"In 1904 women were allowed to be admitted to study for degrees at the University of Erlangen, so Emmy registered to study mathematics and was awarded a doctorate in 1907."
"Women were allowed to be admitted to study for degrees at the University of Erlangen from 1904, so Emmy registered and was awarded a doctorate in mathematics in 1907."
