Lost or 'stolen'!

2 weeks ago (15th April-16th April), it happened.
One local Japanese reggae (almost amateur though they released their own CDs) group who are early 30s and we coincidentally got to know via my tweet follower would sprit out, and it was the last gig on 15th.
On that day, I woke up too early (4 am) and went to tennis practice with tennis 'circle/not a club' members and practised from 7-9, then I watched the local tennis tournament that my friends played... then went back home late afternoon. I was so sleepy, but I had my own tennis lesson at night starting from 19.00 (to 20.30)
then guys sent me soooo warm msg saying ''pleeeaaase come to our last gig'. As I was a bit awake after tennis lesson, I decided to go to the centre of Osaka (southern part) at night after tennis lesson, and I stayed the live house and danced, chatted.... until early in the next morning.
And I took a train (5.33) bounding for 'K' Station' one stop before my place... As you can easily imagine, I was too sleepy to wake up in the train, so I fall asleep .... when I woke up I realised that was the station I had to get off. I put my bag containing purse, iPhone... on my shoulder, so it was okay, but as soon as the train door was closed I found that I left my TENNIS BAG that had all my tennis items... 2 tennis racquets, my fav tennis wears, tennis shoes and one English novel , and previous iPhone that I used as iPod to watch some videos and a small bag (back skin one though the zipper was broken. for some medication I need, some cream for muscle...!) OMG . I dashed to the station office and told that I forgot my tennis bag. the staff called the station to ask if there was a tennis bag left in the train... Believe you me, it was only one stop and there was a few (1 or 2) passengers in the compartment. Then, the station staff told me that there WASN'T ANY LEFT in the train... aarrgggghhhh! So, I dropped into the police station and reported my left bag to them.... But I haven't got any reply yet.
Me and my friends are quite sure that my bag was stolen in the train.. whithin a few minutes. Unbelievable.

konbanwa 'kbrtiata' san - sorry to hear about your bag getting stolen
it's possible that it was stolen while you were still on the train (ie. whilst you were sleeping) - and that could be why you got up and left the train without thinking about it at first (because it was no longer at your side?)
if i realise that i'm getting sleepy on a train i try very hard to keep myself awake (so i don't miss my station - it's a long way to the last stop!)
take care, be safe

apologies for the double post
h2g2 was obviously 'asleep on the train' for the first attempt - it told me "an error has occurred" instead of confirming my post!

Hello a-l-s
for your post.
Yes, it happens in the train
To my regret, this happen even in the countryside, here now that never happened in the past.
I really wanted to get SLAZENGER racuqet as my new tennis racquet next time I get new one...
but no way, I got HEAD racquet via yahoo auction But I like that racquet (i.prestage), so I can keep playing tennis without borrowing any items
Taamyu
p.s Are you studying Japanese ?? I rarely use any Japanese

thanks Taamyu - nice to meet you!
i see that you are serious about tennis!! it must be a big loss to have those things stolen
perhaps the police will see who took your things (because a racquet is difficult to hide!) if they look at the videos from CCTV at the stations
no, i haven't studied Japanese unfortunately - in my previous job i had some contact with our Japanese office and i learnt a few phrases to be polite - but of course, their English was good, like yours, so i was very lazy!
well, i'd better try and go back to sleep - this must be your daytime now, but its 4am here in England!!
take care

Hiya a-l-s
All in all, it hasn't found our yet.
MAYBE, the person who took my 'treasures' threw them out as RUBBISH
I do hope that it's OKAY if my English novel could be found though I can get it here (amazon, too) if I book it.
Because of my 'fickle/weird foot (I don't think so, though) shapes, 2 pair of tennis shoes don't fit my feet .... aarrggghhhh! I have to get fairly good/expensive ones again
Thank you for saying that my English is understandable for you
(all folks here KNOW...) I am not confident on myself nor on my English at all
My clock set in the UK time, so I know easily current UK time, so I often am confused when I want to check LOCAL TIME
Take care, you, too
