Hi Roger,

Welcome to the AWW, . I think this is probably a good place to submit this entry, as it comes into the 'personal theories' category, and as you recognise, would probably not fare well in Peer Review.

The AWW welcomes all kinds of writing (sometimes you get pieces that start off here and end up going through PR and on to the Front Page, perhaps with a few amendments/compromises along the way), and despite the often slow/low response rate, you can be sure that some researchers will drop by and have a look at this entry.

It's quite a difficult one to comment on, as you can probly imagine, since 1) It is a personal theory; 2) the main text is rather formidable!

With regard to 2) - i think your intro and skeleton point-by-point preamble are a great idea. Let your reader know what may or may not be the reasons for plowing into the main text.

My advice for the present; be patient and persevere with this thread. It could take some time before the 'right' reader turns up and you get the kind of feedback you are after.k

And that brings me nicely to another point; what kind of feedback *are* you after?

If you want some discussion of the issues you are looking at here - you might consider a question in Ask H2g2 - including a link to the main entry in the first posting. (If that is gobble-dee-gook, just say so and i'll repeat it in English with links! )

I think you'd be more likely to get a 'philosophical' discussion over there, whereas here people may often be more interested in writing for its own sake (even though the content is interesting and may well be subject to discussion)
