I think what made Alex stand out from the other guy (forget his name) was that her voice was so destinctive. The other guy was very good, but he just never seemed to have the vocal personality that Alex did.
She definately deserved to win and I think she will go far.

I said as soon as she started singing 'Beautiful' before she'd even gotten into the academy that she was the one to win it!

Well I've said that at the end of many a Grand National, but I think you would have had a good bet there hun.
Even when she was doing covers, she gave each song that little piece of herself that made it hers, the other guy just didn't have that.

Did you hear her do 'I Dont Wanna Talk About It'? The mic didnt work and she had to start again, but OMG, I love that song anyway, but I was sat her with mum and we crying our eyes out, and you know me... I dont cry for anything!!
I think she could sing baa baa black sheep and still be amazing!
She has the sort of voice to make love to!!
(Ok, cant you tell whats happening in my head... and someone elses!)

OK...it's off to the dark room for you lmao.
I don't know about a voice to make love too ( although not one to talk, the very first album I made love to was Rick Astley. Gotta love Stock, Aitken and Waterman), but she does have a really wonderful voice.

Its a sexier voice than Rick Astley's. S,A,W have a purpose with the music they produed and sex wasnt what they were trying to inspire.... I dont think, could be wrong tho! Spellings the first thing to go,
