Let's see.
Episcleritis (left eye). No treatment available. Ptosis (right eye), awaiting surgery. Sair big toe (right foot). Doubtless arthritis, rheumatism or gout, or all three. Funny spots on chest. Perhaps ringworm. Occasional sore fingers. Undoubtedly arthritis. Red nose - nothing to do with drink whatsoever. Dandruff. Can no longer interlock toes, and worrying loss of flexion in right foot little toe. Problems getting solid 9 hours sleep per night. I put it all down to stress.
On the plus side, hay fever not too bad. Appetite not massively affected.
I was in Embra on Friday and came home with a load of Fopp, as in Glenn Gould, Charles Lloyd and Jean-Luc Ponty. Susan ordered me the new Be Bop Deluxe Live at the BBC 1974-1978 3CD + 1 DVD set yesterday. I like BBDL. I remember buying Drastic Plastic when it came out, and the shock of the breakup and Red Noise LP that followed it. I remember an absolutely splendid Sight & Sound in Concert from 1978.
I am in the cubbyhole, singularly not working.
S and I had a nice day out yesterday, a ver' nice day out - Kemnay and Inverurie. S got a big pile of Ian Rankine Audiobooks and a swell jumper. I got a Hollies 20 Golden Greats CD. The Hollies were never close to being in the same league as the Beatles, but Graham Nash's voice communicates a sense of spontaneous joy to the music that pretty much none of their contemporaries were able to emulate.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
