I have seen Prof 1 to chase up comments on my case commentary. I saw Prof 2 re my 0.2 (formerly 0.3) FTE. They don't want to go above 0.2 because they want me to submit a thesis next year. In fact, Prof 2 was worried that the hours pencilled in for me might be a tad high even for an 0.2.
I went for coffee with Prof 3. We took a keen research volunteer with us. We went to the new library. It is ver' impressive, with excellent views over the city.
I saw Caius. I saw someone in the Business School, and got access to Cubbyhole #4.
Howling windy day. But bright.
All in all, a day of some progress.
Next week is Freshers' Week. The week after that I start teaching.
Things is coming together. My inner Micawber exaults.
Steak pie for tea.
