h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

OK, so I have to do some revision tutorials this Saturday, but I won't know when or for how many 'til tomorrow. The resit is next week. The marker will be... moi (maybe). I am not allowed to see the resit paper, and therefore will have to be able to cover all of the course in the tutorials.

I have a week's full of invigilating next week.

Susan and I went in to town this morning. We bought flea drops, flea spray, WD40, silicone lubricant and cans of compressed air (for computer cleaning, and £3 per can).

We dropped off some books, DVDs and CDs at the Oxfam, then bought a whole heap more from 1-Up and various charity shops.

We met a friend - a solicitor - for lunch. I discussed a recent judgment with her - it is mooted that we should collabrate on a case commentary for publication. I also sounded her out re co-authoring a book, and she seems quite up for it.

The lunch was at Pizza Express. Susan and I then did a 3-mile walk around the Ferryhill/Crown Street/Gilcomston back streets. It has been really nice having Susan around for these fascinating walks - we have seen bits of Aiberdeen we have never seen before.

Susan is walking well and looks ver' healthy - not worn out/ground down. Our friend said as much.

Miah took a real battering at the weekend. We keep finding scabby bits, and the wound under her chim turns out to be much bigger than we had thought.
