I will be at home all day today. I am reading Grant v Heriot's Trs. and will do a bit on Craig in the afternoon. Stir-fry for tea tonight, to run down the fridge, Susan being away all next week. I have been checking out the website for the hospital, and see that there is an adjacent hotel, and I am thinking about going down the day before she gets discharged and doing an overnight, so that we can set off early and have the luxury of being able to stop as and when necessary.
G. will look out for Miah - we will at no point be away for much more than a day and a half, which is not enough to warrant kennels, and in fact taking her to and from Mrs Murray's Cat & Dog would cause considerable anxiety for ane catt.
Anyhow, things are in motion. In less than a week Step 1 in Bionic Susan will have been taken.
It is a better day outside. Dry. It will, of course, rain - this IS Aiberdeen in the Summer-time.
Withheld has been trying to phone me, quite industriously, but never at a time when I have had a half-hour so spare. Of course, I have been down at The Place for the last coupla weeks, pretty much 7.30am-7.30pm. I have decided that I will be 'in' today.
Friday... the new Speccie. Plus auld law bukes.
It is now clouding over. Miah is out. Susan is at work.

Glad to hear things are a bit better, Douglas. I was a bit worried about you.
