I have been picking up/imagining way too many for my liking, and will not be taking up C's kind offer of a room-squat at the end of the week. I will relocate back home tomorrow evening, and give the other place a wide berth for a while. There will be work there for me in the coming year, but there will have to be a shift from amateur to pro. as in back under the cosh of employment as opposed to my look at me I'm a butterfly wheee wheee aren't I having fun of the last ... eight years. Time sheets.
OK, I knew it had to happen sometime, but when one is frolicking in the sunshine, amazing but true, one can sometimes forget about Mordor louring.
Anyhow, this much I can remember - head down, mouth shut, never volunteer, and cover your back. Paper trail. Get in the Union.
Actually, everything is good everything is wonderful everybody is lovely all are sweetness and all are light and it's just me that's having a bad paranoia attack. I mean, we are takling about work...
Horrible Histories on BBC with Stephen Fry is badly written and not particularly funny, but the performers - Fry excepted - are talented and energetic and ver' ver' good.
I had a migraine today, right in the middle of the actio communi dividundo. Ugh, Roman Law.
I had some nice lamb for lunch, with loadsa mint sauce. Actually, I had some ver' good mint sauce, with a bit of lamb.
Susan to Glasgow on Monday. Op on Tuesday. Back home the Friday of the following week.
