"Over many decades, the Duke has embraced a range of causes, including the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme and conservation, though he insisted he was not a 'green' campaigner."
"'There's a difference between being concerned for the conservation of nature and being a bunny hugger,' he added."

Anyhow, cauli cheese for tea tonight, DEFINITELY, as it is made and in the fridge ready to pop into the oven. I have croutons and smoked ham to go on top.
And a bottlie wine for later.
I went down to Uni today, to pick up a promised 'something' from one of the Profs, only he wasn't there. He said 'Friday'. He got an e-mail saying 'I'll be in on Friday.' Well, as Shakespeare wrote, mene mene teakettle...

I missed Peet on R4. I never listen to Feedback as it seems to me to be full of people whining about the BBC, but I will listen to Peet on listen again, allowing me to zip past the bla bla bla kvetchery.
BBC iPlayer isn't working. Our cordless mouse died last night. The e-mail is playing up. The washing machine is getting cranky. Susan needs a "a (wo)man barely alive; we can rebuild him (her)" makeover. Miah is OK, though.
