Peet, last week, was labouring under the misapprehension that Neil Gaiman is a Science Fiction writer.
Well, d'oh!
Gaiman - I have followed his work since the late 80s - is the SW for tonight's Doctah. I am quite looking forward to it.
His work takes in novels and short stories and essays and comics and scripts and demmy! if the man ain't a singer songwriter to boot.
This is one of this songs, with Gaiman himself singing. It has spawned a plethora of fan videos:

Susan enjoyed Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging last night. She is at work, having been sent off with a box of cheese and ham bitties, and Miah is in asleep on her (Susan's) electric chair. I'm hoping my Archos tablet will arrive today.
Today is, how you say? fresh. Cool, breezy, somewhat overcast. I have had cinnamon and raisin muffins toasted, with jam, and apple juice, and an espresso.
The S R Beale Smiley repeats start on R4+ this pm.
I did have a run of the early Sandman, from number 1, but sold it years ago. I still have Black Orchid, safely bagged and boxed.
Indian lamb meatballs for tea, with rice.

That song really is magnificent. I have listened to it about fifteen times so far today.
Also, I have dealt with a pile of student assigmenments, and am half-way through refereeing an article. I have also been listening to Japanese jazz - McCoy Tyner-influenced stuff, ver' good, ver' late 70s, big epic Steinway, anout three hours so far. I found six-plus hours worthy of rip't from vinyl mixes and have had them queued up in media player.
The first youtube link is the best.
