OK, so I painted the thesis chamber yesterday. I put down a new rug. I re-assembled the clothes rail. I sorted out books &c for the Oxfam (they were dropped off this morning). I went most of the day without seeing a cat, and ditto today - Miah is in Summer mode, and mousies beware.
The painting was an awful job, s the paper kept on having to be re-stuck. I had to lug boxes & furniture &c all day. But not 'tis done.
Mince 'n veg 'n do'balls for tea.
Saturday's Dr Who was a bit of a mess - over-egged, over-frantic, all skop, skiet en donner; also, full of ideas, but that's not always the best foundation for entertainment, othewise New Vienna School string quartet performances would all be stowed out the door.
Another bonny day.
But my hay fever has kicked in. What, already?
I slept ver' badly last night, and have had great problems knocking out my 1,000 words for the day..
Here, spot the difference:

Did you spot it? Yes, the teeth are better in video 2.
Not that the White House parrrtaaay crowd didn't have a point, but I wonder what it would take to do the same? I genuinely can't think of anything; too British, I suppose - happy to content myself with a sotto voce "I should jolly well think so."
Still, to be consistent with myself, I would have to say better what happened than a trial and execution a la Saddam/the Nuremberg prisoners &c Blood, delicious hot, disgusting cold.
We should never glory in death, because every killing is only a temporary victory. Our triumph in outliving the corpse is transient.
Here's the 'let's keep them on board' getting put in place in anticipation of the Thursday result http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-13273932 . I'm not doing thang on Thursday. I didn't do thang last May, due to an oversight, that I came to appreciate as a liberation. The last time I did thang we got a wossname that I thanged for - the first time that had ever happened for me - but I only thanged for herpes as a tactical thang against chlamydia (wasn't she in Pride and Prejudice?, i.e. I stuffed myself. Never again.

(Thang involves making an X. I'm not saying who herpes and chlamydia are, but I am in Scotland).

That is an Anglicisation of the spelling of the Afrikaans word donder.
You pronounce it informally donner just as you pronounce skinder skinner.
I didn't like it at all, and reading the analysis on ML came to like it even less.
