The composer on Crimson Petal.
'Mad as a box of frogs' according to one writer in the Guardian; aye, the series, that is. Quite (queasily) magnificent, though. The music and sound design in particular is magnificent - the wonderful scene where the soundtrack seemed to be made up of distant atomic explosions...
Bonny day, but, you know, Law.
Miah out. Susan at work.
Mince n' veg n' do'balls fot tea.
Watched a prog. anent the Georgian Home on BBC-i last night. I have read one of the presenter's books - I can't remember her name right now - and thought it ver' good, but, on screen, she over-muggs badly. The prog. however functioned well as an i-pad placement vehicle.
Last night I did pasta with smokey bacon sauce, smoked bacon, fried courgettes and feta cheese. It turned out well. Feta cheese is a useful sort of cheese. I added some, alongside the mozerella, to my last pizza, and it made a good flavour bomb.
Sorting out loadsa books for the Oxfam. Loadsa loadsa books.
I polished all of the silver teaspoons yesterday, and scrubbed the mugs. Thesis displacement activity. With thesis work, it takes time to build up a head of steam, and it's then all about maintaining the momentum, cos' momentum ver' easily disappears.

I don't suppose you would happen to know where to get any of Cristobal Tapia de Veer's work? Or at least if the song on the crimson petal is available somewhere?
Thanks.

Just general Goofling around. Not much really. His music makes a big contribution to Crimson, but it is hard to imagine it getting an audio-only release, as it is so closely wedded to the visuals.

Thanks for the links I was hoping that the main song on Crimson was a previous release of his. Indeed, plus its quite rare for songs from a tv series to be released. Unless its Glee of course, and that's such a crime to humanity it shouldn't be allowed anyway.
