A Conversation for Firewalking

I just had to share my experience with firewalking. I did one about 13 years ago in Bradford at a spiritual type convention. It was the most amazing thing ever. We started by signing a disclaimer that if we injured ourselves we would not sue which was very scary as just moments before the conversation had all generally been "if we could get hurt they wouldn't be allowed to do it!"
We then talked about things that we felt were holding us back in life or barriers we felt etc and wrote these down on short planks of wood. Then one by one we karate chopped these thick planks most of us succesfully, we were slowly building up confidence and excitement so by the time we built and lit the fire we were all really motivated and exhilarated. We all walked down to the fire accompanied by loud music and chanted as we walked. Before walking the fire we all raked it and as I did this I leant over a bit far and felt a burning on my neck. Then we lined up and we each shouted out "My name is.... and I WILL WALK THE FIRE"
The excitement was amazing and I didnt feel a thing, I walked it twice and didnt feel any heat what so ever, although 1 or 2 people lost their nerve and kinda hopped and skipped over the fire and felt burning but did not injure themselves. So far it is the most amazing and baffling thing I have ever and probably will ever do. I felt completely high and exilarated for hours after and barely slept that night. My whole outlook seemed clearer and I woke up the next day with a new plan for my immediate future and a confidence to actually do it. If anyone is thinking about doing it you HAVE to go for it. I am desperate to get my hubby to do one and am definitley going do do it again myself.
Truly amazing.
