I'm going after Fredrich Neitzsche..
...
A german Philosopher from the 19th century who questioned why man needed to think. A philosopher of philosophy if you want.
He's more famous for his stance on religion - which is an off one seeing as though his male role models were all priests (father et grandfathers).
Some choice quotes from Friedrich:
"Which is it, is man one of God's blunders or is God one of man's?"
"Ah, women. They make the highs higher and the lows more frequent."
"Ah, women. They make the highs higher and the lows more frequent."
"To forget one's purpose is the commonest form of stupidity." (very Yamamoto like that one)
Oh and the one you should all know (and if not go watch conan the barbarian until you're eyes bleed):
"That which does not kill us makes us stronger."
Now I must go, for it is once more 6am on the day when I was 'having an early night'
Comission still not finished
Bokken comes today - or monday. Curse this postal services hide with heavy goods!

Hmmm...
I've just never known what my purpose was...
Except maybe to serve as a warning to others...

But he kind of asks why there needs to be a purpose at all.
The whole idea that the answer to what is the meaning of life is dont ask such a stupid question because they isnt one is kind of darkly ironic
