(I missed the sixth day because I got the date mixed up. Stupid mark)
On the REAL 7th day of March, Saint Patrick said to me
*In the voice of a drill instructor*
'Pump some Iron boy'
Ive had to research Arnold Schwarzenegger for film studies. So as part of my research I went wandering, and got hold of a copy of 'Pumping Iron'. I only got chance to watch a bit, but holy mother of Crom. When I found information saying he had a 57" chest and a 22" bicep at his peak I thought it was wrong.
He was so big, I discovered, that he was forced to tone down his workouts whilst filming Conan because he wasnt physically able to weild a sword properly.
So after going from a 40" waist to a 35" in five months, and seeing this, what do you think mark decided to do. I'll of course be avoiding the steroids, and the massive weight gain (he weighed nearly 17 stone) for now, I have started a rather gruelling fitness regime.
My arms have always suffered from flabbybingowingitis, so I started to lift the bed. 100 in the morning, 500 in the after noon till I get some proper weights should do the trick I reckon. On top of that, If I complete my 500 I get to, as a reward, watch Farscape. During this I have to do 100 sit ups. And thats not to mention to 50 sit ups in the morning, or the walk to and from college.
The sit ups I dont mind - at my peak I did 200 a day, but then quit after finding out I couldnt be bothered. Hopefully by May Ill have either doubled the weight Im using, or doubled the amount of work.
At the moment I know Im building only my upper body, but my upper legs have always been well built so they can wait awhile.
Some of the advice Ive looked at says dont do too much too soon, and reward yourself. Well stuff rewards, and no pain no gain.
Anyway Im off - Ive only done 160 lifts and need to do another 340 or else no farscape for marky.
PS
I also forgot. I mentioned to my sister that Id spoil her rotten (new outfit, make up, limo to coldplay, the works) and she was chuffed to bits. So hopefully Ill have a job soon.

A career as a body trainer, certainly?
Good grief, if you want to make your muscles sore, just join cross-country and save the bed some aggravations
just kidding
keep going!
