Happy Valentines to you all! Hope you all got chocolate and lovely things from the people you love!

My Valentines day didnt start particularly well really. My lovely lady friend (who I know three whole things about) wasnt in, meaning I coudnt be nice and find out if shes single or not and such.. anyway.

It then got slightly better. Well a lot better actually. Me and my best friend fell out because of what she reckons is tension. Personally I dont see it (I R MAN - like I R BABBOON but with a redder bum), but anyway saw her and decider discretion was the better part of that other thing, and fled. However in a cunning twist of fate she was at the bus stop on the walk home. A quick walk and all things were sorted by the good will pixie.

Now when you read this, please read it carefully because I'm chuffed but not in a bad dirty old man way.
I got my first Valentine card today. Now I dont mean like, first of the day, I mean first of the life. A hand made Valentines card from my little cousin Shannon (daughter to the frequently mentioned 'Uncle Don'). Why? Well being my usual self as a joke I said that she didnt really love me, she was only saying that cause Wes (older cousin, currently trying to get his rifle to work - Army infantry) wasnt here. The card read, to the letter:
'To Mark the Best cousin happy Valentines day I love you. See i told you i loved you or i want be writing this card. Lots of huges e kisses Shannon'
It has made me smile that much because Im not that close to anyone in my mums family, and that really made me smile because (ive been informed) shes spent most of the day and night making it after I left on Sunday. Im really going to miss her when I go to University. She told me she gets called fat and ugly, and I hope it doesnt affect her because she is such an amazing person, and I feel very humbled that ive been able to watch her life like she was a sister rather then a cousin. I also proudly say I had her moshing. Dont know what to (think it was that happy fellow Mr Manson, although possibly might have been rock gods Death From Above), but she had a laugh.

After being rather naughty and not phoning Christina (Half Sister) I phoned her today. Turns out Sarah (Sister in Law) has been asking about me. Having said that though she spent most of Sunday calling me weird. Ah well. Christina got lots of cards though so Im not impressed, especially with all these boys. This is where the fearsome older Brother comes out in me. Happens with basically all the girls I know (Vicki, Amy, Karen, Dobs, Gina). Any men-folk wanted to go out with 'em thats okay, but if there BUGGERS ILL SMASH *censored....repeatedly*
Anyway I already told Christina that she was going to the Convent soon enough..


Then something great happened. 'Love you' she said. Now we used to say that all the time to each other, because Im not ashamed to admit that I do love my sister completely, and if anything happened to her Id be a mess - Id be quite prepared to do a John Q if she ever needed a transplant, and if she died I think Id head to Japan and become a Monk. Ive avoided saying it to her because of just starting to speak to her again - I dont want it to end up all a mess again because I cant go through all that again. But she said it, and now Im so so happy you cant imagine. Ive missed out on the earlier years that I saw with Shannon, but with Beans I get to watch her formative years. Its about the right age where I can out out with her and do things and share interests, and it not be too bad age wise. I mean, parents and kids always have differing tastes (Busted - HA THEY SPLIT!), but its good.



Anyway Ive been and am being emotional enough now. Whether you spent it with your partner (as I know many on hootoo are, it being the place of romance) or with someone who means the world to you, happy valentines day

BUSTED SPLIT! WHOO HOO THATS MADE MY DAY!!! Thanks, I had a great valentines day, it was also a first for me, first Valentines day with a boyfriend and also the first one where the only Valentines day card I've receive hasn't been off my Dad saying 'guess who?' (although its blantently clear its his writing) my card even had a poem wrote in it! :D

Actually I did get some chocolate, two aero bars! He's skint and even had to borrow the money off his mum. But just you wait till Easter, last year we agreed to buy each other easter eggs (since everyone now thinks we're too old for them) only thing is he got hungry and ate the egg he was gonna give me was kinda glad when his mum ate the lindor chocolate bunny I bought him! This year Im demanding a HUGE egg from Thorntons!
