Asmodai Dark (The Eternal Builder, servant of Howard, Crom, and Beans)

I spent todat at Johny Kerrigans funeral.

Non of you will know him but a lot of people did. Even people who'd only met him briefly spoke of him well, and I can happily say there were at least two hundred people there.
It was strange to see so many old faces again. They had nothing but praise for the lad. Even Kirst (Old best friend, now were mortal enemies) turned up.

So as happens at these things I get invited to the wake by my old mates. To a pub five miles away. Bugger.
Not to worry I thought. I'll walk Robin to the tram (being the gentleman I am) and then walk home, get cash, jump on a bus. That was at four. Now its seven o'clock and I dont think anyone will be there, and its too far to go and I dont know where I'm going.

Its not that I'm missing a pint that bothers me. Its that I'm missing spending time with a lot of old friends who were just like johny - there good people.

I'll track em down soon enough.

I am sorry Johnny passed away. smiley - wah
Even though I do not know him, I feel certain of you regard for your friends.
Appreciating the company of people around you is very wise. You'd never know what you might have missed.

I was trying to say something today about it that I couldnt word right.

He had cancer. All through his body pretty much. Knowing the person he is, and knowing how much people thought of him, I think there grateful that they had time to spend with him so that he knew how much he was loved.

The best bit was listening to the conversations as they went on around you. Its amazing that everyone had there own particualr tale, not the same thing over and over. Each one was unique and moving in its own way.
