"In an hour of darkness the blind man is the best guide,
In an age of insanity look to the mad man to show the way"
In little under 11 hours from now the first cull of entrants will take place. My this silent prayer guide the judges hand and grant my Warlock sweet mercy that he may fall with honour at the final selection, and thus do his painter justly proud.
Your eyes now shine with a life of there own, and may the great goblin make like your eyes and bless you with good fortune on this day. May your picture be immortalised for all to see on the Games workshop website, and so champion my painting skills for all eternity.
I bought you a year ago, with a head full of plans and ideas yet woe betide for I abandoned you. So you sat and waited till it was your time to venture forth into the light. You waited until I was roused from my stupor and with defiant determination did set to work.
I apologise for the mistake on the back of your helm. It is not chipped and has been cover, yet the yellow does not cover well and an evil judge such as Phil of Kelly (spawn of hell) may yet punish my foolish venture. Your blade has been competently done, yet I fear too poorly, and the lump on the tip may yet prove our undoing. Your shoes are not rite yet that I cannot fix.
But your robes. Oh your robes how beautiful they look and how they shall flow proudly on my computer forever more in order that I may never forget that in those blue within brilliant blue robes, I achieved perfection.
This is my silent prayer. For those that read it none will make sense. Only one man may see this. A man who ventured with me into the darkness and the insanity.
Now I go alone into the dawn and I am not afraid.

I understand perfectly. I however am a not fabulous painter.
'You will do justice that it deserves. The cloak of blue will see you through the dark days of woe and grey.'

To say the other enteries battered me would be an understatement. Go have a look at the GW site for examples of true artists. If i had a hat i would doff it in respect
