Having gotten back links with my sister once more I am extremely sad to see the second of my rocks drift off to some place that isnt manchester, Ireland, or Bushland (I think the Prince of Manchester has banished her).
Karen has been.. well theres no way of really putting it t be honest. Karen has played a part in far too many peoples lives to list here and all of us will miss her. Im in no doubt we'll all say that we miss her the most, because thats the sort of person she was. There at exactly the right time, and being exactly the way you want (not to giddy/mega giddy for an awful example).
The problem is she goes into banishment at some time called 9am on saturday. I wasnt aware this time existed on Saturdays, and thought that it was merely a bolt on for friday nights. Knowing full well i wont be up, and even if its only me i still want to see her off, im intending to stay up till the second 9am on a friday in order to sadly wave a fantastic part of my life away.
I'm trying to think of something i can give Karen for her going away but its not working. Im considering giving her my only picture of my sis because even though it may not mean a lot to her, she knows it means a lot to me.
Not only that but Manchester waves good bye to its second greatest general in its long history. A brilliant tactician and more importantly always an inspiring challenge. Admittedly i probibly would have dropped out of the hobby in year 7 if he hadnt of started goblin bless the old git. Heis marines were poor, his empire were better, his orks are best left unmentioned, and had he stuck at it his Tyranids would have been brilliant. Sadly twas not to be and so he slinks into the night to some place he calls sheffeild, but me thinks he too has been banished by the mighty prince of manchester. Should he ever get back into the hobby, he'll find an opponent ready and waiting for fantasy (My chaos are getting like my Tau - unbeaten and unchallengable), and a 40k one ready in three weeks (three falcons + 24 guardians, and a seer council - roughly 90 quid. Plus the stuff ive already got). A valued nemesis and eater of my dogs buiscuits. I make a plea to HPB to give psyc the gift of your real name, in order that he may taunt me forever from banishment and prove a worthy nemesis.
