Hi luv,

I, Ashteth, being in no way of sound mind and body, have rejoined this ole' h2g2 thing (check out my page, i've done stuff!) and am now all for joining THE OLD REPUBLIC!!!!!!!!!! But i haven't got a clue
a) how to do it,
b) who to do it as.

I don't know all that much about the alien types of Star Wars, types of forcers (i din't force her, i din't force her), force powers, powers you get if you ain't a force-y type, etc.

Kinda like the idea of Bounty Hunter, looks like a good gig, or some sorta spy type. Leaning away from being an actual Jedi/Sith, going more for background character, savvy?

WL2B(would like 2 be): Tall, slender, morally ambiguous smiley - angelsmiley - devil, interesting hair (just like RL smiley - laugh), special powers-optional smiley - magic, diggin' the whole cowardly gig smiley - run, or the secret-y behind the scenes gig (just 'cos i'll forget to post but can blame it on my character smiley - biggrin)

Am i taking this too seriously? smiley - winkeye

Luv+Hugs ~A~ (gotta find a robin smilie)

P.S. guess who discovered smilies !!!smiley - oksmiley - biggrinsmiley - ok

You know i want to say yes but i cant.

Theres too many bad charecters for what is essentially a game about good guys. Theres four jedi players and roughly four bad charecters. This just unbalances the lot, because if one of the bad charecters has an evil scheme, and then another one does, and another one does, theres not enough people to stop them. But if i restrict it to one evil scheme at a time people have nothing to do and get bored.

Im quite happy for you to join as a jedi though. Ill train you and stuff, and ill be able to move your charecter if need be (if you disappear for instance). Dont worry about your charecter getting in the way i have a way around it.

You charecter as you've described her (or him...) can pretty much by untouched. You can start as a novice, and then from that retain coawrdness etc. Would be interesting to see where it goes.

I shall go investigate your page now.

welcome back

You will go and investigate things and stuff, just it wont be the only thing you do.

First peice of advice is to go read through the rules and stuff at the old republic, and see what you think first. Then have at look at master Vao's training room (go to main page, then dantooine academy- its at the bottom) thats basically what we do, and what you'll be doing for the next few weeks while you learn to be a jedi.

If you still wana play, go to the main page then go to the join up thread (theres a link in the intro). Just post there and bobs your uncle.
