Well I dont like things that are patently untrue.
Its untrue that Della never had problems with other researchers, its just that those researchers *felt* bullied by Della and quietly left the thread or the site.
They felt bullied because of the way Della heaped insults onto them and accused them of things they had never done. Such as being anti-christian, middle class, I was even called a....we wont go into into what I was called but suffice to say it is imppossible for me to be what she called. Im not so sensitive to name calling as some. So I''l state my case.
What is "anti-christian"????
I honestly dont know anyone who is anti-christian here. I know lots of people who dislike the lies that some christians feel its OK to tell pro-christian lies. I and others dislike them JUST THE SAME as any other liars. I know people who make jokes about the miserlyness of Rabbis or the miserbaleness of Presbytes. I have made many jokes to Druids aboutand pagans here on H2G2. I dont see christians as being a special case, but Im not a christian, maybe its not easy to get a sense of perspective when its you people are laughing at. Still it neve seems to bother the druids and pagans
I dont know anyone who goes out of their way to do down christians per-se though, erhaps Della can tell us who these people are that she has seen. People who seek them out specifically to upset and denigrate people for being christian. People who tell lies about christians and try to make christians look worse than they really are.
We shall see.
one love

Frankly anyone who responds to a debate issue with - 'Oh you just say that because you're anti-!' - is obviously more interested in name calling than debating. Snore.
I've also been labelled 'anti-Christian' by Della, when what I really am is anti-bigot. And although I'm quite against the Catholic church I also happen to know many lovely Catholics (most of my family, for example). Likewise I know lots of lovely people from all sorts of religious denominations.
I also don't know anyone here who is anti-Christian, blicky. What most people seem to be against are extreme fundamentalists (from any religion) or when people use religious concepts as justifications for ideas which are objectionable in themselves, regardless of whether they are religiously inspired or not.

There is a very interesting series on television currently. "Peter and Paul and the Christian Revolution". The series focuses on the beginnings of Christianity. Right now, I am watching the episode about the "Jesus Movement" begun by Paul and Barnabas to bring Gentiles into the Jewish faith but under the teachings of Jesus. It covers the schism between the Pauline teachings which modified the requirements for Gentile converts and the teachings of James (brother of Jesus) which centred on the teachings of Jesus but required strict adherence to Jewish religious requirements such as circumcision and Kosher laws.

Now I am watching "Secrets of the Dead: Amazon Warrior Women"....

It is amazing to see the connection made between the skeletal remains of a Sarmation warrior woman of 2,300 years ago. By studying the mitochondrial DNA of the skeletal remains and the DNA taken from a 9-year old Mongolian girl who shows the blond-haired, hazel-eyed traits not shared by her family, they found a direct ancestral link. Not just a cultural link, but a direct, shared ancestor.
Who says you can't learn anything on TV!
