Bad news and uncertainty, bring it on.

I just watched a PBS program (US)- Nova (actually Nova- Science Now),
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/sciencenow/index.html
- hosted by Dr. Neil deGrasse it's a bit collegiate but has a lot of information I found interesting. The close of the program was a little personal (I assume) comment by deGrasse that I found fascinating. Bad news? An invitation to find out what went wrong and how to fix it or better yet, how to understand it. Uncertainty? A slap in the face and a challenge to find out truth and detail, information with cause and effect.
Very refreshing and a pleasant alternative to *God did it and we will only know why when we're dead*.
