The role of the troll

The terminology seems to be applied loosely according to the different groups who use it. I tend to lump the people who appear on lists for the sole purpose to antagonize people, post 'I THINK YOU SUCK!!!' forty times in a minute, and those who have temper tantrums all in the same boat.
I've never really gotten overly upset about them, even when being attacked about my personal beliefs, simply because a fool is a fool, regardless, and my feelings aren't easily hurt. Also, I am almost 100% sure that I've carried on the same habits (be it online or offline), at some point.
Not to say that trolls are 'good', really, but they're much harder to deal with in real life when you sometimes can't help but get a bit wound up.
