Hi Katie
The simple answer is that you can't I'm afraid. The Journal space is not an area that was built so that entries could be submitted from there to the Editorial Desk.
The Journal space on your Personal Page is for general jottings, and notes; for example, showing the progress of research etc.
All is not lost though Katie you can always copy and paste the information from the Journal into a story submission page.
To do this follow these steps:
- View the Journal entry you want to submit.
- Drag your mouse cursor over the text to highlight it all.
- Whilst the text is all highlighted hold down the 'Ctrl' key and press the 'C' key on your keyboard.
That's the copy part done
- Now go to the submit a story page and enter in the your details such as name etc. as usual
- Click your mouse cursor on the 'Story' field as if you were going to type into that box.
- Hold down the 'Ctrl' key and press the 'V' key and your copied text will appear pasted into the 'story' field.
These are short cut keys and should make the whole process a lot quicker and easier for you. I hope that the above instructions help, though if you do have any further problems Katie please feel free to drop me a line.
Best wishes
