5 May is the National holiday in The netherlands ,celebrating the country's 1945 liberation from the German and Japanese occupiers(Dutch colony Indonesia) As well as celebrating the historical liberation, it is also a day to celebrate the true meaning of Freedom.
It's a sunny and warm day and all over the country there are festivities because at May fifth, The Germans officially capitulated for the armed forces.
