h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Ok, Ive been reading thru some of the posts in the cult section and loads of ppl seem to think she's below average in her portrayal as Willow, especially in season 6!
Did these ppl see the same season 6 as I did?? In the last 4 episodes particularly she was fabulous, in such a short time she beat Buffy and Giles to pulp, crushed Dawn and Anya's spirit, lost her true love, skinned Warren, raised a satanic temple, sent a fireball on a murderous journey, destroyed a police station all while having a complete emotional breakdown!
I don't know what else ppl expect from her because, for me, Alyson managed every possible emotion known to human kind, plus some new magickal ones and she totally nailed it. As far as Im concerned those episodes were some, if not her greatest work to date!!!
And the whole time still managed to look good doing it, even as 'dark and veiny Willow'!!!

If anyine can name me 1 other actress who you dont feel the urge to strangle when they go on a spree such as Willow did, then you're a better man than I!!!!

Alyson Hannigan is a goddess in her own lifetime who seems to get knocked for the roles she chooses to play and very, very rarely gets the credit she deserves. At the end of the day she's out there bringing characters, such as Willow, to life and burning them into our hearts and souls with a passion you dont see all that often!!
So instead of disrespecting a great actress, may I suggest that all those ppl get of their butts and go and do better!!!

Alyson Hannigan rocks, and nothing anyone can say will change that opinion!!!!

Now, Ive had my 'soapbox' moment Im going to say thanx for taking the time to stop by and read this entry and now Im off to revel in the joy and greatness that is my goddess, Alyson!

I totally agree hun. Alyson brought Willow to life. She's funny & plays an excellent part in Buffy.
My fave Willow moments are:
Willow v Buffy (s6), Willow skins warren (s6), Willow faces Glory in (s5) although she gets her ass kicked, give her some respect for trying. last but not least Tabula Rasa (s6) When everyone loses there memories due to Willows spell going wrong.
Not to mention Alysons part as a band camp geek in American pie & American pie 2 was & still is excellent. I can't wait to see the American pie Wedding..xx
