a Man from Mars

There is a little blurb accompanying my "Add a Journal Entry" which implies that what we write may be read by others. This is all well and good, as far as it goes. Unfortunately a continuing ambiguous tone sounds very much like a prevarication and a dereliction of duty, to me. Where is the duty of Care?.......

Why do we tolerate GOVERNMENTS' INEFFICIENCIES?

Why do we tolerate NOT being told what is happening?

Why do we tolerate not KNOWING?

Is the BBC the REAL voice of the British people and therefore its Government, in Virtuality?

WELCOME!

Do you know what you are doing? Technical problems? Software problems? PROBLEMS?

What IS the Problem?

You need a "guinea pig"? Speak to LIBERIA. They will welcome you. They are an advanced civilization born out of intolerance and suffering and THEY ARE NOT going back to the status quo.

IT IS NOT WORKING! AND IT FAILED THEM TERRIBLY!

Will HM Treasury get their act together. Do you understand, Helen? Or is it a requirement to have the patience of a Saint?

Personally, I'd rather have the BBC as Government than vice versa, or even rather than just the Government. Who knows. What with all the Beeb vs. Govt fights going on recently, maybe I'll get lucky.

At least, it is a lot easier to talk to them, Fnord. And TV is everywhere. Party lines???? well I suppose we do have channels to choose from.

Makes you ask who would want to be a puppet in a suit...... and NOT do as he was told....a la the Dr Kelly fiasco. Can do a lot of damage though if control is surrendered into the hands of someone who cannot handle it.

Then again, right now the Beeb are making money by seeming approachable and being communicative. It'd be interesting to see how much that changed if they were put in charge.

A seamless transition in which the status quo is acknowledged. We have all the time in the world to effect change, so what is the point in making it more difficult than it should be?

Because if we didn't, we wouldn't notice the change, and if people don't watch things happening, carefully, other people take advantage. And even if the advantage were not taken, we'd need to see the change happening for the change to actually happen. Actions are as much in the hearts of people as in the eyes of men.
