Arrived in this morning and the first thing I did was check the thread where Claudia and I chat. I know she's in hospital, but it's still the first one. Imagaine my peasure and surprise when I saw you'd paid me a visit.

Glad to hear of your car, it's terrible being house bound, isn't it? We went to a "do" in London last Saturday and it was only an hours drive, but one hour 45 on public transport. Mind you, public transport being what it is we were saying it'd be cheaper to pay the congestion charge and drive in rather than pay the fares on buses and trains. Also quicker. What car have you? What year?
Yup Claudia and her son spent and hour and 15 mins with me. I took them to a radio studio, showed them the set up, and cam recorders, then to where we supply the portable equipment, then to our transmission room, and finaly, risked their stomachs by a meal in the canteen. They seemed to enjoy it. She said it was very interesting and her son liked me because I laughed a lot. They were very nice campany and I enjoyed being with them and showing them around, they were very good visitors.It was a shame I couldn't spare more time, but I was at work, and had to organise cover for the period I was away. I took an hour for lunch and arrangement a girl to cover for the extra time. I enjoyed their visit. She is a lovely lady and I hope she recovers soon.
