h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

It's a pop quiz this week. Below you'll find a number of words taken from six song titles - all were top ten singles in the UK. But I've removed a word from each song (the removed words are all different, and do not appear elsewhere in the list).

You need to rearrange this list into six song titles, adding a new word to make each.

Finally, take the six words you've added, and rearrange them to make another song title.

Er .. what was the question again?
And is that Top Ten any time over the past 60 years or however long they've been going?

I have what I believe are the answers, but since I consider the way I arrived at them to be dodgy, to say the least (I guessed at song titles and googled to see if they existed), I'll stay out until people who actually know something take a crack at them.

Let's start with My Sweet Lord: added word: My.

Couldn't think of any other that would have Lord in it.

Can't be You've Got A Friend In Me because that would be missing two words. On the right kind of track?

Fly Me To The Moon, missing word: Fly

Could be 'You've Got A Friend'

But can't think of a six-word title including Fly My

There's almost infinite possibilities. So 'Moon' could be 'Moon River' or 'Under the of Love'

I thought of several including 'To SIR with love' but none of them have six words in the title

The songs were hits between 1960 and 1990, although the final song of missing words was actually first recorded in the 1930s.

One hit is a little more obscure than the others (I was constrained by needing to match a particular word in the final song)

And Florida Sailor, The song titles aren’t all 6 words long.

Like I said: I cheated by guessing song titles and googling to see if they existed. I actually knew two of the regular titles, and of course the 'extra' one, since it was Cole Porter.
