The QQRenegades Board appeals most juicily. 
My question on the QQ Board was tacitly answered as soon as I had posted - Pre-Moderation now seems to be the "Normal Service Resumption" the Gregorian Dykes promised 3 weeks ago. Guaranteed death to the Board, in my humble etc,...
I'm organising the removals over to the QQRens as we speak.

FWIW, I think the Pre-Moderation of the Beeb boards is for technical not policy reasons. When they have got the debugging done, they should revert to post-moderation. (No, I have no inside knowledge - I just interpret what they said).

They've been claiming since early August that this will be sorted 'next week'. It's absurd to suppose that it can take so long. The only plausible reasons are incompetence or a hidden agenda.

And, judging by the smooth(er)-working, un-pre-modded state of some of the other BBC MBoards now, it may be the latter as far as R4 Boards are concerned...?

I hate to inject hope into this situation, but the last host message I read described key BBC staff being on holiday, and we may see an improvement when they return. If it's a case of releasing the final boards from premod when they are back to the correct staffing levels, or when they are satisfied that the new hardware can cope, then we may see something happen in September.
I must admit I was worried to see the Members board had disappeared. Maybe this is a transient feature.
