So how do you change your name to Leon or perhaps you prefer Suzanne?
P.S. We are arranging for some researchers to meet up in London next weekend - take a look at http://www.h2g2.com/P97788 if you are interested.

If your parents took even less care in naming their offspring than Great Uncle Bulgaria (who named young wombles after consuming half a bottle of Jack Daniels and then throwing an old hunting dagger into The Times Atlas of the World, if I remember the books correctly), then the cheapest and easiest way to change your name is to join the actor's union, Equity.
On joining, a young actor or entertainer is expected to come up with a stage name that reflects just the right degree of seriousness/humour/depth/flexibility/unemployment that they anticipate displaying in their new profession. Indeed, if you share the name of an existing member, you will be forced to change your name, even if you've always been happy being called Simon Josephine Rowbottom.

So what name would you choose if you really wanted to reflect your character? As you can see I only ever got as far as reflecting my hair colour!
