What do you say when you've got nothing to say?
"..."
Exactly.
And that's as it should be. A lot of the people I work with completely fail to say "..." when they really should, preferring instead to prattle on about all manner of things. This allows them to display quite breath-taking ignorance across a whole range of subjects.
It's ridiculous! I mean, if they want to do that they should get on a web site like everyone else...

Well, I have something to say. Can I tell you how much I hate some people over at floor 42 these days? 'cause there are some new people that I'm barely able to keep from shooting.
I was wondering, do you get that?
I feel your pain.
Spartus Posted Jul 12, 2000
Not to downgrade anyone's squidgyness or anything, but they just BARELY make up for it.
"Maybe he meant that there are 42 [plural noun] in a [silly object]."
I feel your pain.
bubster Posted Jul 13, 2000
Come on! I'm talking about you folks - your squidgieness knows no bounds. Don't make me promulgate another decree...
I feel your pain.
Classic Krissy Posted Jul 13, 2000
Only bubster could appropriately decree about squidgyness.
*squidges both of 'em*

Hi!
I've been meaning to tell you that this entry really got me - I came across it a week or two back, I guess. And now I go around quoting you to people, especially
"This allows them to display quite breath-taking ignorance across a whole range of subjects."
Magnificent!

Oh, and...
Pay no attention to that "Hero of the Rebellion" thingy, OK? I mean, it's nothing personal. It's just that the associate george title was beginning to grate on me. So I jazzed it up a bit.
But it's not really a rebellion. Well not really much of one. I mean, we probably won't really have much money or time to devote to it.
So don't worry one little bit, OK?
Key: Complain about this post
