The great big "I"
(lowercase "it" says I, says I).

I remember,
Last November
Rhyming like there's no December

A year ago
We started Boing!
Now back once more now Spring has Sproing...

Is this a joke?
Is this a trick?
Tell me, bubster, tell me quick!

Tis truly a sign of the end of times!

I mean I knew
That you were silly,
a really great big silly willy...

But this forum's
truly odd.
Like a girlie's dress upon a cod!

'Tis true, this odd
and mazing craze
Was something of a passing phase

An ancient rite
Before your time
To put one's merest thoughts to rhyme

Ah, thoughts to rhyme.
Been there, done that.
Teenager's time
(tho my poems were scat)

I really don't miss
Writing in rythym;
I really wanted to spend time with 'im.

My first boyfriend, you see,
was a vegan and hippie.
He wrote poems that were silly
and "far-out" and trippy.

The worst thing of all,
I confess to my shame,
is that he encoureged me madly
to do exactly the same!

This rhyming lot..
Well Okay silly, but we ought

Not be so quick
To snuff the wick
Of our little rhyming pick...

It's given joy
To girl and boy..
Oh what a pleasant little toy!
