There is a rather large bump. Inside my tongue. I thought I was just imagining it yesterday, because I'm more paranoid than usual on road trips. But there is.
And it scares me.

Nothing, so far. I'm going to try to schedule a doctor's appointment tomorrow - the question is, what kind of doctor? I guess I'll go the GP route and if need be get referred out from there.
I just wish my imagination were a little less active. I'm worried that just as I'm adjusting to being happy all the time, the boom gets lowered in the form of something wicked this way growing...
Who knows. Hopefully just a crazy overreaction that I can laugh about someday, yes?

Let me know what the doc says. i hope it is nothing, my friend. Usually isn't. It is good to hear you are happy.

*hug* Well if you're scared then it's good to go to the doctor for an official "there's nothing to be afraid of", I think. I had something on my eye a couple years ago that turned out to be nothing, but going to the doctor helped it go away faster.
GP is probably the right doctor. Or, since GPs are increasingly rare, it seems the next closest thing is "family practice", which is what my "normal" non-specialist doctor when I was growing up is. Specialists these days are often insanely strict about not being bothered with anything other than their specialty. Make sure you follow the insurance rules if that's applicable, cos otherwise you'll be kicking yourself later. Insurance nearly always sucks, but what sucks more is if you could have avoided the insane bill by doing something slightly differently.
Take care you. *hugs* Here's hoping we're soon smiling at the paranoia of it all.

I don't think she has insurance yet, greg.

Okay... now I'm anxious and nervous and things. You remember Lisa getting sick? If we hadn't taken her to the hospital when we did she could have lost her eye. Please go immediately. And please be careful. I'm absolutely sure it's nothing, but don't wait.

*wrings her hands*
I'm not going to wait much longer.

*wrings his hands in general sympathy with the tendency of the time... Waits, also*
So what's happening...?
