Wow. We moved to the new office today. I got lost on the way there, but it gave me a decent excuse to drive through Arlington.
The change is astounding. Up until last week we were ten people per tiny room, working elbow to elbow and being forced to hear every phone conversation, meeting and interview in the place.
Now - offices. Desks with drawers. The atmosphere in the office is somewhat different due to the environment - I can't say more productive because we spent half the day trying to get our various computers/phones/etc. to work. But I get the feeling the work is going to be a little easier without the constant distractions of a crowd.
Oh. And there's a Starbucks that's a four minute walk from the office.
Bliss.
