Ant and I survived the drive to the airport this morning, probably the most dangerous leg of our entire road trip. He's off to Florida, and I'm sitting here looking at the apartment which seems vaguely unfamiliar and new after a short journey to the homes and lives of others.
I'm debating whether to wash the now smoky, smelly, too-often-worn-without-being-washed clothes I took or just burn them. I think I need a vacation

*plans to set up road blocks on the PA Turnpike if Kate is driving back through my state*
And don't thik I can't do it. After 10 years as a newspaper reporter, I *know* people. The governor's wife likes me. I get X-mas cards from the governor and everything.
