These shoes ROCK!!! They cost a small fortune (well everything's relative) but they're supposed to last for ages. They're wicked comfortable and cute too. So now I'm happy

Damn skippy they can! For a few hours anyway Socks can too. And sleepwear. As for the more lasting type of happiness, I'm still working on it but I'm sure someone around here can vouch for its existence

It is definitely a mistake to underestimate the effect a pair of good shoes can have on one's personality. I just dug up some boots that I'd had for a year but never wore. I LOVE them!

I always buy shoes one at a time. That way I get to feel good about, say, the left one for several hours, then I get to feel good about the right one.
I think that's best.
