And I just read ???? ?????'s definition of Aphex Twin. A mishmash of white noise? Really? I must object... some, yes, but a lot is really rather lovely. Which isn't something you often say of music made on computers.

Since it is obviously too big a subject for one entry, why not as Uncle Heavy suggested, split it up.

What about even considering it as a university of life entry?

There's some good stuff in here so I wouldn't trash it at all. Split it up and find a focus for the article.

It's obviously a subject that interests many people, so there's clearly a demand for an entry in the EG.

There's nothing wrong with your writing style, so take up the good suggestions that have been made and turn this into a great entry.

I found this article after searching around for articles already written involving MIDI to some extent. I think this is a great article, but it might be a bit much to bite off all at once. I agree that many would be very interested to read an article here about electronica music (either electronica or electronic, the latter of which encompasses the former plus much more, as has been said). Heck, I'm one of 'em!

I do have one small correction: I've never heard of MIDI standing for anything other than Musical Instrument Digital Interface ... I think you'll find that's the correct expansion of the acronym.
