Removed? Poem? Surely it was an article of some sort? Who could you possibly have offended with a piece on cats? I'm more baffled than usual, and that's saying something.

Mmmmmm? It would appear we're talking about two different thingies. The article i was talking about is still there. Oops! So, tell me then, when you have the time, what have you been up to?

cannot see where it condones it , but then again ,seems its ok to well promote several films on film net , push enimem on 1xtra , could go on but wont, write a bit of poetry and put it on h2g2 because Get Writings closeing and its removed,

I can see your predicament. As you know, I don't know much about h2g2. But if it's meant to be a hitch-hikers guide to the galaxy, then i suppose i can understand why your poem's been removed. Just think, there might have been some aliens out there who saw your poem as a perfect example of how to skin an extra-terrestial feline.

Perhaps you need to give birth to an alternative. You could call it: Not the hitch-hikers guide to the galaxy. You could finance it through advertising, giving you a competitive edge over old auntie. It certainly worked for Rupert Murdoch in the Sky Sports department. You could arrange promotional evenings where newcomers to the sport of cat-skinning can try before they buy, so to speak. it could grow from an underworld/universal except h2g2 pastime to a multi-global industry. It could be the new football. There's a lot of mileage to be had, if you're prepared to walk the walk, or fly the sky, or whatever else you can think of.
It's bedtime for Bonzo here. have a nice evening/weekend.

Fate has dragged me by the scruff of the neck back to these woods. I'm afraid my life is still languishing in the doom and gloom department under the stairs below the basement of the mineshaft. Yes, you've guessed, as usual, any lower and I'll reach the core of something.
Happy new year? If only!
I suppose things could be worse...
After careful consideration I've come to the shaky conclusioin that things couldn't really be much worse. It's this time year, it always gets me. This year is worse because of the complete lack of true love washing upon my shore.
Okay, here goes, deep breath and all that:
Hello my dear Logicus, it's lovely to see you. Thank you for your kind words. And a happy new year to you too, my good fellow! My, it's been a good 'un. How's the writing? Still going strong? Still shaking your booty and tickling the girls? I certainly hope so.
In fact, you've cheered me up so much, I think I'll have a wee wander down memory lane and go visit the old Dock. Who knows, I might even attempt putting some words on paper. Doubt it though.
I'll bid farewell for now, I can feel a low pressure building again. Bah humbug!
Yours most sincerely,
SP
ps Good tidings to you and yours.

ah this low pressure thats building is it as yeilding,
as a gelding thats left to run free in the forest of dean,
would I be called mean if I told all the mares that he was
a queer, and forgot to mention I meant weird.
not a zebra with spots or panda thats not
eating bamboo shoots, with a spoon, before I forget
or start getting wet, as i'm feeling particulely strange,
maybe its the thought, of magazine brought from the news
agents very top shelf, It something about the way to the
stars and the moon, I also must say i look forward to the day,
when your pen meets the paper once more, or failing in that
the key board goes splat as your fingers go ten to the dozen.
what a strange thing to say when all said and done a dozen is two more than ten, but once and again the baker you ken has put one away in the oven, thats thirteen my freind and this poems end before my luck runnith over for as you can see i'm becoming silly or is it i'm feeling my balls, for i'm not getting wet in the pool but going out now to play pool.
(thats my cue to go )
