Wetback is someone who crossed the Rio Grande(it's a large river) from mexico to come here We have a lot of illegal immagrants in Texas and in southern CA also.

I have two friends that came here from Mexico, one married a lesbian so he could become a citizen and the other's mother came across the boarder when she was pregant and almost due, so he would be born here and be a citizen

It's very common in fact spanish is spoken as often as english

didnt texas use to belong to mexico?? can u speak spanish? any foreign languages? i hated languages @ skool, i did french & german. i pick abit of spanish up when i go on hols but th@s about it.

Yes texas was first owned by France and Spain, then Mexico, then they were their own country, then they joined the confederate states and the confedarcy( I need spell check ) lost the civil war they became part of the US.

No I do not speak spanish even though several of my friends do, but I can understand better the more tequila I drink!

I took Japanese as my second language when I was in high school. We were living in Hawaii and there is a very large Japanese population there, so Japanese was taught at every school. I don't remember much, I only took two years and I have little use for it here, but I can still count and I still remember a couple of bad words

When I was very young we lived in Germany and my mother worked so I had a nanny who spoke very little english and my mother said when I was a child I spoke more german than english I can't speak it now!

Yes my dad was USAF, I had someone on here tell me he had been in the RAF and I had to ask him what it was, he promised not to tell my dad.

Nobody that I know of? But Jane's Addiction (do you know who they are?) Was from the same town and I use to hang with them when they were practicing ( I don't think I spelled that right?) My best friend at the time dated Perry Farrell.
