what classifies one as thinking too much? or what is thinking too much?

You know you've been thinking too much when the thinking causes discomfort in yourself or those around you. Sometimes the discomfort can be quite intense, as when your neurons heat up and make your brain explode. Other times the irritation is much less severe, as when the thinking causes you to seek justifications for unjustified yet deeply held beliefs. That makes a lot of people so uncomfortable, that they just give up thinking altogether, which, I suppose, is better than having a bunch of exploded brains to clean up.

but what about the enjoyment from thinking to the point of making others uncomfortable?

Doing anything for no other reason but to make others uncomforatble strikes me as a bad thing. But on the other hand, feeling uncomfortable about the thoughts of others may be silly. They are just thoughts, after all, and every one's entitled to their own. At least, that's what I think. How about you? What do you think about thinking too much?
