Sadly, this is the one you submitted. I don't know if you meant to.
I've been around here a while and I can tell you pretty confidently that this is going to get rejected. They're mostly looking for entries with real information - it's okay to take a personal slant, excellent to add on some humour, but you need some content too. This would be fine as a journal entry, though.
Oh, and it'll take a few weeks before you hear back from them - there are about 10,000 researchers for every editor at the moment, so don't be disheartened if you're feeling ignored.
I hope we see you around, though. Keep plugging away and they'll notice you.
