It's Father's Day, 1999.
I've just gotten back from Las Vegas, and am seriously thinking that
if, for some godforsaken reason I go back, to never ever ever spend that
much money on a game of craps again.
That place is weird, Vegas is. Too much aural and visual stimulation. Lights,
bells, whistles, people coming and going, fancy dressers from LA,
Mom+Pops from the Midwest betting the farm... General mayham.
Don't get me wrong; mayham is great. But it's a whole different level
in Vegas. It's like, an expensive anarchistic Disneyland for thrill seekers with
tons of cash trying to have a good time. With a touch of self-confident
thugs on acid.
