h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hey everyone (my limited friends on here anyway lol), I'm back. Havent been on for a while as Ive been distracted by mock exams and it being almost christmas and stuff. And was also more interested in making my myspace page all pretty (www.myspace.com/pretty_in_the_dark on the off chance that anyone else has one). Well I suceeded, got bored and came back here.
Nothing particularly interesting has been going on in my life while I've been gone; just hanging around with mates, listening to music and going out and seeing a couple of cool bands.
In other news: I finally found a christmas song I like; Fairytale Of New York or whatever it's called. It's highly depressing and I love it.

Feeling pretty hopeless right now so I'll write more when I'm in a better mood.

Ive been happily spending my xmas money on cd's and DVD's cos I got a dvd player. 'PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN' IS CLASS !!But now ive been bueried in a pile of homework i havent done. But on the plus side, to of my mates are coming over tomorrow and we're gonna play together (2 guitarists and a bassist). Should be fun as we're all beginners!

Hubby bought me a MP3 player, got a friend to download both Darkness albums on it for me.. So now there's no gettin' away from Justin n Dan..
They're either in the main CD player, the CD player on top of the stairs, my personal walkman CD player or the MP3 player...

Im all worked out for the week having finally completed my coursework and about half of my homework.

Just went back after half term today. Wasnt too bad, tho I didnt want to get outta bed as usual lol.
I can't find any new music to get into at the moment. I liked Coheed And Cambria a lot for a while but then I bough their album and it was a bit cr@p, which was annoying. But I watched a Motley Crue concert on tv the other night and got all excited cos they played 'On with the show' and 'too young to fall in love' which are my 2 favourite songs of theirs. I discovered it's hard to mosh quietly and by yourself!
How've you been? Not bueried under snow I hope? It didn't stop me and my mates going to the park, but it did force me into wearing a coat for about the 7th time this year .

There's a couple of "tunes" I've heard on Kerrang that have caught my ear, not sure of titles but the bands/group are... Panic at The Disco and All American Rejects... (or summat like anyway..lol) Didn't sound too bad, don't know owt about 'em tho'...

The Panic! At The Disco song you heard was probably 'I write sins not tradgedies' and the All American Rejects was probably 'move along'. I like the All American Rejects, but I prefer the song they released before that one, 'dirty little secret' more. And Panic! At The Disco are kind like dance-emo or something. My mate loves them. I just like the lyrics cos they're amusing.

I havent been on here in aaaaaages!! Been bueried under a mountain of work (that I've been ignoring cos I wanna go out and have fun rather than work) so my online time got a LOT less frequent. Which sucks. Its the end of my last year and the shit has really hit the fan lol.
Been to see a few bands, Less Than Jake who were amazing, and the Kaiser Chiefs who I dont really like that much but i went with some friends. I got to crowd-surf which was fun, cos I havent in a long time. Although I didnt really trust the crowd to keep me up as it was all short girls (like me!)

Anyway, how have you been getting on? Any new music you're into? I haven't seen the Darkness video, I rarely watch tv unless its a good film or something.

I think Panic! just released 'but its better if you do'. Sounds pretty good to me. Their songs kinda grow on me lol. I didnt like them enough to actually buy the album, but I did manage to aquire a copy. It's not bad...
Woo, Angels And Airwaves!! I love their song...can't remember what it's called though. And I got all excited when I heard the new Taking Back Sunday song. They're kinda emo but I like 'em anyway.
I don't watch the Jonathan Ross show, except onec when Johnny Rotten was on it. But from what I've heard it's quite good sometimes. He dresses like a tramp though... I've been watchin My Name Is Earl latley, its quite funny. But I haven't seen any of this series of Doctor Who. *cries* My geeky passion lol
