h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Okay, so this being my first entry and all, be very prepared for it to suck. I don't know yet exactlt what kinds of information I am going to put in it so I think I'll just start with a "Selfish Boyfriend Story". I have an unlimited supply of these, so I will probably use them frequently as space fillers.
This one takes place on our first Valentine's Day together. I had told him not to get me anything, because I didn't want to seem like a selfish, ungratful, materialist. Well lo and behold, he didnt get me anything, not that I minded, mind you, but the thing that made me mad happened after I gave him his present. He was completely ungrateful and materialistic. He said "You know what would have been nice? A dirt bike. Yeah, THAT would have been nice." Well, seeing as I have the financial status of your average everyday high school student, a dirt bike is a bit out of my price range, so I bought him the next best thing: $10.00 worth of his favourite See's Candy. I thought this was a nice little gesture, but no. He then proceeded to be mad at me all day at school because he failed to get me a gift. So we go through school fairly upset with each other. I am trying to hold on to the hope that perhaps he has planned something spectacularly special. No such luck. He calls me later, still quite upset about his lack of generosity, and asks what I want to do. I tell him to pick so he finally decides on going to the movies. We show up and I give him ten dollars to cover my ticket because he never pays for e when we go out anyway. (In all fairness It's partially my fault on account of the fact that I don't think it's entirely fair for the guy to have to pay all the time). So anyway the tickets ared 6.75 Each which would have left me enough money to get a soda, so he asks me if I'm going to want a snack, and I reply that yes, I would most definitely like a soda, at which point he starts yelling that he'll have to go to a (insert several loud profanities here) ATM machine to get more money (bear in mind the fact that I paid for my ticket plus more than half of his) At this point I felt quite sorry for the Atm machine that was having it's good reputaion spoiled because it was in no way the poor little guy's fault. I tried explaining this to my temporarily insane boyfriend, but to no avail. He simply kept yelling. I eventually told him to just take me home at which point I told him to please just take me home, which he did, insanely, I might add, and to call me in the morning when he was ready to behave.
Oh I have way worse stories than this and If you keep reading, I'll keep posting. Some of these might prove to be quite amusing to you all.
