h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I have been neglecting hootoo of late, to my great shame. Then again, I've been virtually ignoring the internet as a whole recently. Uni has started and I haven't been procrastinating which leaves me with little time. Plus this job hunting thing takes up a lot of time. There is a forty mile no-hire radius of my house. I hope my mother will be satisfied knowing that I'll find something this summer. I can't do my internship at the Callaway gardens because I'm a minor, whether or not I'm a highly educated minor or not. Biology has been brilliant. Today, I basically got to educate the class. Tyson was prancing about with this lily asking everyone how many petals it had and the consensus was six. He finally sighed and came over to me.

'Stacy, how many petals does this have?'

'Three,' I say.

'Why?'

'Three are sepals and the other three are petals.'

The class was saying things like, 'Oh, how stupid.'

'Isn't she stupid?' asks Tyson.

'Duh,' the class says.

'Well, I agree with you all,' he says while the class oh's, 'but she must be smarter than you all. She's right. Explain, please, Stacy.'

Calculus is more boring that precalculus. I'm hoping it gets hard and I fail so I can actually do some work. Other than that, my wallet is falling apart. It no longer closes because I have it stuffed with stuff. I need to get a long one that doesn't fold. I'll probably do that this weekend.
