Due to the destruction of my power supply and lack of winner from last week, I neglected to stage a closet competition. In the stead and because I now have a power supply, I will give you three lists.
THE GOOD
-I was too tall for a pair of pants that fit in the waist and hips.
-my Dend. aggregatum is growing a new pseudobulb
-my power supply has been installed successfully
-it was announced that DSL is now available in my area (WOOOOOOOOOT!!)
THE BAD
-I came close to giving Sherman heat stroke
-I have listened to pathetically sappy music all day
-I am not allowed to spend an hour tomorrow trying to successfully figure out what my presents are before I finally open them because it makes my mother and grandmother feel bad (???) although I derive great pleasure from this practice and am extremely good at it
THE UGLY
-nine pallets of sod will be arriving on my birthday, which means, due to the extreme heat (ha, it’s not even Thermidor yet), it must be laid the same day. Might any of you volunteer as slave labor for my birthday?
-DSL will not be installed for several weeks…possibly. I’m really cute, so maybe they'll give?

If you pay my expenses to and from Houston and let me out once in a while, I'll do just about anything for you.
Try alternately looking cute and threating them/threating to install it yourself with power tools and see how quickly your DSL shows up.

Such willing slave labor. Hop on the plane. In thirty-six hours, sod will be ready to lay.
I think I will call and play sweet Southern girl until they BEG to install my DSL.

Mr. Carrot Posted Jul 2, 2004
I would also volunteer for slave labour.
Go ahead, this will be great!

Party starts when the sod arrives, come one, come all. I might even let you eat some of my birthday pudding.

Hehehehe, Jenn hasn't even STARTED the summer assignments. I have got some mad-crazy looking notebooks, many thanks to the APUSH texts...
YAY! It's my birthday! I doubt I'll get any flowers because my mother hates ordering them.

I should probably get started on reading for next year, but do you really think I can be bothered?
Yup.
Tacysa Posted Jul 3, 2004
Ah, the sweet joys of entering a school where summer assignments don't exist. *sigh*

Mr. Carrot Posted Jul 3, 2004
We don't really have a summer assignments, they're not allowed, but as our teacher put it 'When you get back, you'll have two weeks to read three large books and think of something intelligent to say about them, this will count for a third of your grade. You don't HAVE to read the books, but it might be smart to start a bit in advance...'

(oh-my-god-do-i-really-have-to-do-this?) estacio=lucky for no mas summer assignments, but estacio=more lucky for not having to fight with the COLLEGE DEMONS. *jealous*
