Hmm, .Net the wonder of wonders that it is. I can create a new Excel workbook or open an exsting one. I can add and remove worksheets, rename them, enter data into cells, do calculations with them I can append rows to the bottom of the sheet, delete rows from within the sheet. But, given that all this is really rather easily done, how come I can't find a way to insert a new row in the middle of a sheet?
It shouldn't be that hard CurrentSheet.Rows.Insert(2), no worries, except that if you try and insert a row at 2, and there's any data in any row below that, it won't let you because it will be pushing data of the worksheet.
Sorry? Microsoft is concerned about me losing precious data? If they were really concerned they'd fix the bleeding bugs in their software that keeps making my server crash whenever I hammer it.
Maybe I should use a smaller hammer. One of those nice rubber ones that don't leave dent marks.
There must be a way to get this to work.
There must also be a tea bag somewhere around here.

What I want to know is...
...why do Pastey's journals all seem to be about tea?

Goes without saying - and a little tells me that is bringing me fresh supplies of real English

We could do with an upright tree flashing like Greebo's disco lights of course - but the smiley list is closed so I won't bother requesting one.

Of course - then the Beeb can start selling wall-charts so we can check how to input them all.

It would certainly be useful! I find the one of the 'World and Time Zones' invaluable - although it is currently lying on the floor because we are redesigning the computer room so we can actually have the radiator turned on and defrost the ice of the inside of the window.

I'll see if I get any free time this weekend... what with Towers Trumps and this article I'm supposed to be writing, and cleaning the house, and this and that... good job I'm so skint I'm not actually going out anywhere
