Hmm, Crystal Reports. Anyone ever heard of these?

Well, I'm having to use them as a plug in to the .Net studio. Sheesh but they're complex to try and figure out without reading an instruction manual. Tip for bosses: GET THE MANUALS! Still, got it up and running properly now, and boy are they good.

So, initially I was given a month to do this bit of software, then after picking it unusually quickly I was given 'til the end of the week. How do I tell them that, having started yesterday, I'm now finished and ready to put it on the live server? Do I tell them even, or do I try and padd the work out for the next couple of days? Tough call that one. Well have to see.

It's always easier to pick up stuff when you enjoy it. The problem is I'm already thinking about and coding in little extras that aren't supposed to be available until the second release of this thing. Trust sales people to use the line "That will be available in the next release" without even finding out if it's in the first one. Ho hum, not my problem.

Still, it's a nifty bit of kit by anyones standards.

Will that be diffucult? With h2g2 at your fingertips I can hardly think so. Today I had an hour to kill between the end of Italian and vocal ensemble. A problem? I think not.

I'm sorry? What do you mean? I've been here since ten, and will log off inabout ten minutes. And then back online some time this afternoon, hopefully (and on email- I'm not allowed to access Hotmail here).

Hmm. I'm still hungry. But not that hungry, as I had some crisps. One day I'll learn to eat properly!

I agree, crisps aren't proper food. Not like, pizza, chips, Pot Noodles (had one for breakfast) curry and beer.

For *breakfast*?? I can't stomach those things at the best of times... Years of organic food has made me quite sensitive to chemicals in food. A Pot Noodle *is* one big chemical!

Still, beats curry. Personal Best for curry stains down the front of a clean shirt... 8.25am! At work!!!

I've not eaten enough of the stuff to do that. Times eaten in a curry place: once. Times eaten curry *ever*: about... uh.. maybe four times?

You're missing out on one of the best food stuffs on the planet, after beer of course.

I don't know anything about curry. I never eat it. The one I remember was red. Bright red. Very nice, but had no spice in it at all- I'd made someone else choose for me because I had the 'flu, was worried I was going to get hypothermia on top of that (I was *cold*, and had been for several hours) and wasn't capable of thinking straight. Not that I told them that, of course...
